Jameson Connects Kenya 2018 Kicks Off

The excitement for the upcoming Jameson Connect concert happening tomorrow at the Waterfront in Karen has been hard to miss especially on the Jameson_EA social platforms. Two of the main acts, New York based rappers Desiigner and Bas, have already arrived in Nairobi. The rappers this morning attended a press conference at Dusit Hotel to shed more light on their music and their maiden trips to Kenya. The third artist expected to perform is British rapper and singer Stefflon Don who is making her way to Kenya as we speak.

The morning session attended by journalists from various media houses and moderated by Buddha Blaze was engaging and we got an idea on what to expect tomorrow. The Pernod Ricard Managing Director for Kenya and East Africa Mr. Predrag Amidzic who was on stage too talked about the Jameson Connects Kenya that have been taking place in other parts of the country such as Meru, Mombasa and Kisumu. He also shared that one of the main aims of the platform is to nurture young existing local talents.

Both Desiigner and Bas looked super thrilled to be in Kenya and promise to bring their A game tomorrow. "I appreciate all you guys for being here and Jameson for all the hospitality and I am ready for tomorrow." said Bas.

"Me being here is everything! Kenya is more beautiful than I ever imagined." Was how Desiigner described his thoughts when he got here.
